Josie had a wonderful weekend that began with her first official Johnson family get together. We spent Saturday afternoon with Josie's new cousins and meeting the rest of the Johnson clan. It was exciting to see Great Grandma Joe with her newest girls. Josie pretty much slept through the event.
After the family event, we took Josie to Grammie and Papa Stewart's place at Grand Lake for her first lake weekend. Papa Stewart was finally able to hold his new granddaughter. Josie was wide awake and entertained us for about 4 hours in the late afternoon and evening. This seems to be her awake time during the day. She slept good during the night, which was a good sign for future lake trips. Papa and Chad installed a new outdoor toy for Josie next to Lane's fort. We marked the concrete with Josie's name and date to remember her first trip.
