Josie is feeling much better this week! She is making up for lost time by eating very frequently and the good news is she broke the 9 lbs. mark. Her days and nights are a little mixed up after being in the hospital so we are trying to get back in our routine. I didn't realize how spoiled I'd become with her sleeping so well at night. The last couple of nights she has gotten a little closer to her normal sleep pattern which is a good sign. Josie is talking more and more now that she is feeling better and is getting so close to laughing. She has started not only talking more to us, but now engages in conversation with her toys hanging from her swing and car seat. It is pretty funny to watch her talk and smile to them. She spent some time with Gramma and Grampa Scott on Sunday and had quite a time engaging Grampa in conversation. This was the first time he got to really see her interact, since she is usually taking a nap when he is around. I have a feeling they are going to be good friends.
We are looking forward to a return trip to Wichita this weekend and for Josie to spend more time with Grandma Virginia and Grammy and Papa Stewart. I should have a few 4th of July photos to post on Monday.
