We have had a busy week finalizing the contract on our house and signing a contract on a house in Olathe. We are really excited about the new house, which we close on Febuary 3rd. The new house is just three houses down from Liberty View elementary in the Blue Valley School District. It is a great location and only 15 minutes from Chad's work. We are going to be in KC early enough for Josie to start outpatient therapy at Children's TLC and become familiar with her therapists before she starts school at the end of March. I will probably take her to TLC once a week for speech and physical therapy. I think Chad and I will both feel more comfortable leaving her the first day knowing that she will be familiar with everyone ahead of time.
Josie has been busy in her new walker! We have been walking at the mall in the morning with Gramma Scott and her friend Deborah. It is nice and quiet and a big open space for Josie to roam. Josie is also contining to learn new signs. She is regularly signing drink and bath now. She is also starting to sign "book" and chad taught her a sign for him that she likes to use. She is also enjoying the packing process immensely. Yesterday Gramma Scott and I kept having to pull her out of boxes while we packed:) We are continuing to prepare for surgery and will be glad when the 18th gets here with no illnesses in between.
Henry is continuing to do great. He seems to be on a little growth spurt right now and eating frequently at night. We are hoping he grows out of it soon:) He is officially rolling over on his own now. He gets a little irritated when he does it, so I think he is going to start rolling himself back over before too long.
Hope everyone had a good new year. We are excited for the new things this year is going to bring us!
