13 Pounds!

Josie finally hit the 13 pound mark! It took us a looooooong time, but we are finally a pound heavier. She tolerated the NG tube better this week so we were able to keep it in longer and end the week at 13 pounds 9 ounces. The tube is out for the weekend, so we will probably lose a little, but now we have some breathing room. Josie had a great weekend in Derby visiting Grammy and Papa and Grandma Stewart. She traveled really well...even when we took 4 hours to get home on Sunday. We unfortunately forgot the pump for her feeding tube and had to turn back about 45 minutes into the trip home.

This weekend we celebrated Grampa Scott's birthday and his return from a long trip. He and Gramma Scott babysat Saturday morning so Chad and I could get a little Christmas shopping done. Josie is going to begin lockdown mode next week to make sure she doesn't catch a bug before surgery. She doesn't really get to go anywhere publicly now, but next week we won't have the babysitters and will reduce visitors. We have a week and a half to go to before surgery and we are all looking forward to getting it behind us. I posted some new pics of Josie online for everyone to see. She is really starting to look older and the red hair keeps coming in!
