Frowning

Josie has had a good week of feeling great and eating better! We left her NG tube out until Sunday finally having to put it back in after she lost a total 0f 6 ounces for the week. Even though Josie lost weight we felt really good about the no tube experiment. She is so close to eating enough calories on her own to gain weight that we have high hopes that she is going to turn this thing around without the need for surgery. We started increasing the calories in her formula today so that she can get by on fewer ounces and still gain weight. Hopefully this is the solution for feeding independence. She was so much more active without the tube in and is talking again.

Over the weekend we traveled to the lake and visited Grammy Stewart. While we were there Josie seemed to master how to frown. She doesn't seem to know when it is appropriate to do it and on Sunday would frown anytime Chad said something to her. This was very entertaining for Grammy and I:) It has progressed to frowning for just about anyone. You can see in the video her new face:)

This weeks big event is celebrating Chad's 35th birthday:) We are enjoying a more normal existence while Josie is feeling well and it is a good birthday gift to Chad from the little one. W

One last note for the week, we wish Uncle Phil the best in his move and can't wait to visit him at his new place!!
