Josie spent her first night at Gramma and Grampa Scott's on Friday while Chad and I went to the lake for our anniversary. She had a great time and really did well. She is eating a little better which makes it easier to take care of her. We had a great time and really appreciated Gramma and Grampa Scott losing a little sleep for us:)
I'm going to get Grampa with this claw!!!With Josie's recent health issues I have taken a leave of absence from work for the Fall semester. Chad and I decided that Josie needs to concentrate on gaining weight and getting healthy before we start daycare. This will allow her to gain some weight and get the flu vaccines before she is around too many kids. The pediatrician is a little concerned about her getting the regular flu and she can't get the vaccine until she is 6 months old. We are hoping that the extra 4 months at home will give her time to get bigger and be capable of dealing with an illness from time to time without a trip to the hospital. I will definitely miss teaching, but am greatly relieved that I have the opportunity to stay home with her a little longer.
