Josie had a great day today and met several milestones for coming home. She is now moderating her temperature well and her breathing is stable. Her blood sugar is balancing out so they don't have to prick her heal as much anymore. Josie is pleased with that since she could live without the 4 hour pin pricks (she has sensitive feet like her daddy). She really found her voice today and let us know anytime she had a dirty diaper, which seems to be fairly frequently:)
The last milestone to come home is to drink 8 bottles in a 24 hour period of time for 2 days. Josie found her sucking skills today and is pretty enamored with her pacifier. She also was able to successfully take one full bottle today and we are going to try for the second one in a little while. She has made a lot of progress in the last 24 hours so we are hopeful that will continue tomorrow.
Chad and I got to spend a good hour with her wide awake this morning which was fun. She is getting quite the personality already which is amazing. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes through the blog posts and emails!
