Josie had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! We began the weekend on Friday and spent much of the day at Gramma and Grampa Scott's house. Chad and I worked on getting their yard ready to house our dogs and Uncle Phil kept an eye on Josie. She talked to him for a long time on the back porch. She is really becoming an outside kid. She loves the breeze on her face.
Saturday morning we headed to Derby and Josie spent the day with her Great Grandma Virginia, Grammy, Papa, Uncle Corey, Aunt Susie, and of course Lane. Josie did great on the drive out (except for a quick roadside diaper change:). In the evening she was worn out and went to bed fairly early allowing Chad and I to visit friends for a while. I thought we would come home to a baby wide awake since people were shooting fireworks in every direction in Grammy and Papa's neighborhood, but she was sound asleep. Somehow Josie slept through all the firework shows and around midnight it was quiet enough for me to go to sleep. Of course, Josie woke about 12:30 to eat:) Sunday we visited with Great Grandma Virginia again, then headed home in the afternoon. Josie was a great little traveler and it was good to see her back to her old self again.
