I thought it would be good to share some recent video of both kiddos walking. These were both shot at the elementary school playground by our house. Josie signs "play" when we go outside now, which means she wants to go to the playground. The kids have enjoyed spending some time there every evening. Kids are continuing to do well. Josie has transitioned to a twin bed and is sleeping pretty well in it. We have struggled to get her to sleep past 2 or 3 in the morning without having to be a recliner, so Chad and I decided we might all be more comfortable if she had a bigger bed we could sleep with her in. There is not a good answer for her lack of sleep, so we are going to try to make the night's easier for us, too. Both kids love the new bed and it has become our reading area before bedtime.
Henry signed "airplane" and "more" this week! He is obsessed with airplanes so it was fitting that it is his first sign. We have an airport near our home and it is busy with small local planes in the evening. Henry is often signing plane at the dinner table when he hears them:) Josie is learning so many new signs it is hard to keep up with her. Gramma Scott came this week and Josie signed "friend" to her which was sweet.
We are headed to Derby this weekend to see the Stewart's and take the kids to the Walnut Valley Music Festival. Looking forward to it!
