It is hard to believe that Henry is already 2 months old! He is going to hit 11 pounds any day now and is cooing more and more. We are also seeing his smile more every day. He made his first trip to Derby this weekend to meet Grandma Stewart. We had a good visit with Grandma Stewart, Grammy, Papa, and Lane. Josie enjoyed playing with Lane more this time, which was exciting to see. I think Lane enjoyed playing with her too, except for a little incident with Josie getting into his trains. Lane thought she needed to sit in timeout for a little while:
Josie has had a great week with her sign language. She is signing "more" frequently and started signing "all done" and "down". She is really close to signing "please" but is still having a little confusion on how to do it. She wants to communicate so badly and is really enjoying this new skill. Her speech/language pathologist was just ecstatic last week when we went to therapy. In fact, Josie has made so many gains lately we had to rewrite her goals early because she was meeting so many. Surgery is now scheduled for November 17th so we just have a week before we head back to KC. We are looking forward to getting this behind us.
I thought I would share a little video of the kids from last week. Henry is cooing and Josie is showing off her building skills:)
